Political Action Committee
This committee has taken on a variety of causes. This fall we will be working on the School Committee roundtables on Social Emotional Learning and Elementary Staffing. We may get more involved with MTA's work on the Foundation Budget (adequate funding for public education) and High stakes Testing. Testimony for MTA Sponsored Legislation
One of MTA’s priority bills, S. 308, An Act strengthening and investing in our educators, students and communities, is scheduled to be heard by the Joint Committee on Education in Gardner Auditorium at the State House at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 12. CEA Supports the Fight for Public Education
Over 50 educators, politicians and community members attended the forum "Whats Next in the fight for Public Education" last Thursday night at the Graham and Parks School. The event was organized by the CEA Political Action Committee in conjunction with Indivisible Cambridge.
