Evaluation Process Working Group Positions
This committee oversees the evaluation process and makes changes to implementation. It can also make recommendations for changes to the process, but anything significant must be bargained and ratified. The work is slow, but there is a great deal to do to make this system more supportive of educator growth. Proposed Changes to DDMs and Student Impact Rating
Commissioner Chester has proposed changes to the Student Impact Rating (of which DDMs are a component) regulations which will significantly increase the weight of student assessment results in the evaluation process. In the current regulations, low student impact (as measured by State Assessments and DDMs) could only change the length of a self directed growth plan.
