The Cambridge School Committee voted to appoint Dr. Kenneth Salim as the next Superintendent of Schools at a special meeting held on Tuesday, October 27, 2015. Dr. Salim will succeed Superintendent Dr. Jeffrey Young, who will step down at the end of this school year. Kenneth Salim is currently the Superintendent of Weymouth Public Schools, and was formerly Senior Director for the Chief Academic Office in the Boston Public Schools.
